Going For A Walk

Dad has told me off for not working on my blog enough, as there are several regular visitors who are waiting for the next installment of "It's A Furry Life". So, tonight I decided I would cover a very important topic - my nightly walk.

Dad and I go for a walk every morning, and each night Mum, Dad and I go out for another one. I take my job of getting the humans fit very seriously as you can see!

Each night follows a similar routine, the humans (Mum and Dad) forget to take me for a walk and I have to remind them by looking sad, jumping around, barking and generally whinging until I get their attention and they remember to take me out.

Then, I have to tell them to put their coats on and help me with my coat and lead. I don't know what they would do without me to remind them.

Only then do we finally get to go for a walk!

First I try the sad face...

...then I try running around a bit...

...and failing that, I start barking and whining!

Excuse me Mum are you in the bedroom? Can I come in?

Woof! Hurry up and get your coat on!

Finally she has put her coat on! (oh by the way the carpet isn't stained with all my kangaroo bone chewing, it's just a plush pile that shows the footprints and looks dirty in this light!)

This is where my lead and coat are kept!

Helping Mum get my coat out of the drawer

Mum helping me to get dressed!

Next we put on my lead and harness!

Mum says I need to stay still. She says this several times while putting on my harness. As if I didn't hear her the first time!

Lets go!

Open the door!!!

20 minutes later we are back and Mum helps me off with my lead, coat...

...and harness

That was a good workout! I need a drink!

Mum puts my lead away while I head off to the bedroom.

I'm exhausted I need to lie down!

What??? Mum's coat makes a nice bed?
